Repairs & maintenance
Whatever's on the list — the loose handle, the shelf that never went up, the thing that's been annoying you for a year. Bring me the lot in one go and most of it gets sorted the same visit.
Lindfield · Lower & upper North Shore
Repairs, carpentry, painting, fences, pressure washing, roof and gutter cleaning — the jobs that make your place presentable again. Fifteen-plus years on the tools, and the quote's free.
Handyman, Lindfield
Most places don't need a renovation. They need a list of small things sorted properly, by someone who turns up when he said he would.
I grew up around a family of builders and have had tools in my hands since I was a kid. A Certificate IV and a Diploma in Building and Construction later, I've spent fifteen-plus years doing the work that keeps North Shore homes in good order — the sticking door, the tired deck, the walls that need a coat, the gutters nobody's looked at since the last big storm.
Ring me and I'll come and look at the job. You'll get the quote from me, on the spot, for free — and if you'd rather hand me the whole list at once, even better. That's usually cheaper for you than getting three trades out.
What I do
Whatever's on the list — the loose handle, the shelf that never went up, the thing that's been annoying you for a year. Bring me the lot in one go and most of it gets sorted the same visit.
Doors and windows that stick, drop or won't latch — planed, adjusted and rehung so they close the way they're meant to. Plus the general timber work that goes with keeping a house tight.
Walls and ceilings painted properly — prepped, cut in by hand, and cleaned up behind me. Lawns mown and hedges trimmed while I'm on site, so the whole place lifts at once.
Palings swapped, leaning sections straightened up, a run extended where you need more privacy — or a new fence built end to end.
Years of grime off in an afternoon. Side paths, driveways and walls come back a couple of shades lighter — it's the cheapest thing you can do to make a place look cared for.
Gutters cleared and roofs cleaned off before the next downpour finds the blocked one. I hold an EWP ticket, so working at height is no drama.
Furniture and flat packs assembled properly — square, level and fixed to the wall where it should be. Better than another weekend with an allen key.
Why people keep my number
I come out, look at the actual work, and give you the quote free. No numbers made up over the phone, and no surprise on the invoice.
You look at the work before I pack up. If something's not right, I fix it — that's the whole guarantee, and I've never needed a longer one.
I'll talk it through and do the job you actually asked for, the way you want it done, rather than the version that suits me.
If there's a small thing sitting next to the job I'm already on, it usually gets done too. It's your place — it should feel better when I leave.
